Tyson (Ty) the Tyrogue: Though he was born to a large family of intense fighters, Ty had little interest in his training. He preferred to relax and watch the world around him. His family forced him to train day in and day out. Ty got fed up and, as soon as he was old enough, left his home in search of an easier life. He eventually wound up in Alomomola Bay where he met Sally. They have been best friends ever since.

Sally (Sal) the Quagsire: Born in a swamp where Wooper and Quagsire dominated, Sally had a very comfortable childhood. She had many friends, all of which other Wooper, but when she tried befriending a pokemon of another species, she was immediately shot down. Sal wondered why the other pokemon acted that way so she asked her parents about it. She was told that the other pokemon hated their evolutionary line because of the dominance the Quagsires had over the swamp. Sal couldn't bear to be discriminated against so she hopped on a boat leaving for Alomomola Bay and set off overseas. At port, she met Tyson and was shocked that she was accepted by him. He has been her dearest friend ever since.

Penelope (Penny): Adopted from Missy as an egg right after the Sorbet disaster. She hatched while Tyson was helping Hops at the Spinda Cafe. She'll eat anything that's not bitter, including some things that aren't typically eaten (like the bark from trees...) Ty and Sal are hoping it's just a phase.

Trivia:
- Tyson is very tall. He is a over a foot taller than most tyrogues. He gets this from both of his parents, but more so his father. If Ty was human-sized he would rival some of the tallest NBA stars.
- Sally's father owns a shipping company that specializes in things like mushrooms, swamp moss, and live plants native to the swamp that are hard to find on the Tao continent.
-Even though Sally is from over seas, she does not have a noticeable accent, nor does anyone else from her swamp.
